Hi, I'm Kellie, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, located in the San Francisco Bay Area. I graduated from San Diego State University with my Bachelor's of Science in Foods and Nutrition. After earning my credential as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, I have practiced nutrition in inpatient and outpatient settings as well as gained years of experience working with adults and adolescents who struggle with eating disorders. I have a passion for counseling individuals using a non-diet, weight-neutral approach and helping my clients create a more positive relationship with food.
With intuitive eating and Health at Every Size principles, I work to support my clients in reaching their personal nutrition and health goals.
MY APPROACH
Conflicting opinions and schools of thought about what to eat and how to live are everywhere, and it can be challenging to figure out what's best for you. I am here to help you find what works best in your life, at your pace. I work to help you get in tune with your body's natural cues rather than strict dieting rules.
Here are the four key philosophies I live by:
Love Yourself
Nourish yourself and move because you love and respect your body as it is. My practice is from a weight-neutral approach meaning you can take steps to improve your life regardless of your body size.
You're Unique
There's no magic solution for anyone, you and your body are unique - and that's great! Let's discover what works for your body, because ultimately only you will know what makes your body feel healthy and mind feel satisfied.
Mindful Eating
Mindful eating means you are present during meal times and you have positive relationships with food. Any food can fit into your diet in moderation and balance. I practice intuitive eating with my clients, meaning listening to your body's cues and respecting your body
HAES
Health at every size means you can start your journey towards health at any size and the weight you are is not indicative of your health status. This approach encourages life-enhancing movement and eating for well-being. You can learn more about the HAES principles here

INITIAL CONSULTATION
The goal of this consultation is to gather personal and health history in our first session. We will also discuss short and long term goals to reach your health goals.

FOLLOW UP
During these appointments, we will discuss your progress, as well as help you set up realistic, sustainable goals to create behavior changes.

30-45 minutes
My sessions can be conducted over Zoom or in person. Please note if you decide to schedule an in-person session, I will ask that you wear a mask.
